Military leadership and AI: a new trustworthy relation

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the world we live in, and is going to have significant impact in the command-and-control of our military operations and thus the military leadership. The autonomous quality of AI and its ability to perform tasks that previously required human intelligence presents new challenges to the organization, its leaders and operators on all levels in terms of trust and responsibility.

AI, however, must be incorporated into the organization to keep pace with all competitors. But even if today’s military decision-making needs AI, does AI need military leadership? During this panel discussion we will untangle what the required leadership of today and the future looks like and how it will affect working structures within the military domain.
