AI, A Revolution in Military Affairs?

Can AI create a new Revolution in Military Affairs? What is the impact of this technology on strategic stability and existing arms control mechanisms?

 

The keynote panel will address the topic ‘AI, a new Revolution in Military Affairs?’ In this panel we will dive into the relation between new technologies and strategic stability, deterrence, and arms control. Moreover, in this panel we invite our panelists to reflect on the way AI might affect the conduct and character of contemporary war.

 

This high level panel will take about one hour and includes a Q&A with Emeritus Professor War Studies at Kings College London, Sir. Lawrence Freedman, Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs, Bonnie Jenkins and Professor of Strategy at Kings College London, Kenneth Payne.
